Hand building - Term 1 2027

Service Description

Introductory classes to hand building with clay. Learn the basics of pinch-pots, coiling and slab building and experiment with different types of surface design on your finished pieces. Classes aim to teach skills and knowledge as well as provide space for you to create what suits you! Classes will be modified for skill level and experience. Small group classes of 6 people. Classes run in line with the school term, each Friday from 10:30am - 12:30pm. Term 1 2027 will run across 6 weeks on the following dates: Friday 29th January Friday 5th February Friday 12th February Friday5th March Fridayt12th March Friday19th March Please note there is NO CLASS on Friday 19th and 26th February. Cost: $240 includes all tuition, clay, materials and firing included. Fired pieces will be available for collection from Maleny Pottery four weeks after class finishes. No prior experience required however this class is best suited to ages 16 and above.
